There’s nothing quite like seeing a big swordfish hanging from the boat after a long day on the water.

Swordfish are powerful fish and not an easy catch. Getting one to the boat takes patience, preparation, and plenty of hard work. That’s what makes moments like this so special—the fish is only part of the story. It’s the time on the water, the anticipation, and finally seeing that fish come aboard.
Newport Beach has been a favorite starting point for Southern California anglers for generations, with easy access to offshore waters and a wide variety of fishing opportunities.
For Jim, this was clearly a catch worth remembering.
